Real name: Kisho Matsuo
Biography
Collage artist. Born in Brooklyn, New York in 1986, raised in Tokyo.
Self-taught in collage, he found his own style after moving to the Netherlands in 2016: weaving stories by combining Japanese culture with books and materials from many different eras.
As part of his practice he has held workshops on the theme of “Learn and Create” at secondary schools and companies in the Netherlands.
He returned to Japan at the end of 2023, and now spends his days exploring the further possibilities of collage in Japan, making full use of the experience and materials he gained there.
