讃仰若冲居士 “my respect Jakuchu”
These are collage of Jakuchu(1716–1800) who is known as one of the greatest Japanese painter in history.
Since I started to make collage in 2020, I have dreamed to make collage of his drawings.
And wonderful client in Japan asked to me to make it…
I made these collage from January 2020 to April 2020.
That is same time as Covid-19 surprising the world and making us stay home.
I wondered how Jakuchu had been feeling when he was looking at the birds.
In those days, Humans were a bit reclusive, but the birds have been still flying around freely in the sky.
We need to remember “bird’s eye view” and survive with having fun in this world.
