Giganimals in utopia

I am very lucky that my clients have wonderful sense of art and they often inspire me.

This collage is offered by Japanese lady who has the sense.

One day she dreamed about animals in “Cho-Ju Giga(鳥獣戯画)” playing in utopia and she asked me to recreate her dream by collage of the animals which is drawn in about 900 years ago and told as the oldest manga in Japan.

And I made the collage with colored flower pattern designed by William Morris (1834-1896) known as a great British designer associated with the British Arts and Crafts Movement.

Animals of ancient Japan meets beautiful flowers and utopia in Europe.
